- The primary objective of the Trust is to enhance the lives of people living in West Cumbria through the reduction in harm caused by the use of drugs/alcohol. The Trust aims to do this through education and providing people with
- opportunities to work towards living in a more satisfying and resourceful way. To help in the care and counselling of drug/alcohol users and their families and friends.
- 24 hour access to the Signpost Helpline and to continue to provide a drop in/referral centre within the mainstream town area and help and advise drug/alcohol users and their families and friends, to assist where possible.
- Find sponsors and employment for ex-service users and to help them restore their self esteem and self belief and to prevent them from relapsing into substance abuse.
